Terms & Conditions - Request To Appear as a delegation

Requests for a 10 minute presentation shall be received no later than 4:30 pm on the Tuesday prior to the Meeting (one week in advance).

Late requests for a 5 minute presentation to be included on a Meeting Addendum shall be received no later than 1:00 pm on the date of a Meeting. Late requests may also be heard at the Meeting, following all listed delegations. The Board/Committee reserves the right to approve or deny all late requests.

If including supporting documentation and/or correspondence, these items must be submitted at the same time as a delegation request. It is also preferred that audio/visual presentations be submitted with this request – please note in your comments which files are to be used for your a/v presentation and/or if you will be sending a presentation at a later date. A remote control will be provided to you at the meeting for you to control your slides/images, and it is recommended that you arrive 10 minutes in advance to check in with technical support staff. Late delegations may not have the opportunity for an a/v presentation.

Personal information collected through delegation requests is protected in accordance with the Freedom of Information and Protection of Privacy Act, and will only be used by authorized staff for contact purposes.

By speaking at a public meeting, you are consenting to the disclosure of any personal information made evident through your speech or presentation materials. You are also asserting that your presentation is in compliance with the Federal Copyright Act, and grant the RDN license to publish these materials.
