Applications to volunteer to act as Scrutineers for other voting

The Regional Board intends to submit the following question and bylaw for vote on Saturday, November 15, 2008.

Burning Restrictions Plebiscite Question
"Are you in favour of burning restrictions in Electoral Area E?"

Applications to volunteer to act as scrutineers (not paid positions) for voting with respect to this question, will be received at the offices of the Regional District of Nanaimo at 6300 Hammond Bay Road, Nanaimo, B.C. between October 24, 2008 and November 3, 2008 and during that period, the applications shall only be received during regular office days and hours excluding holidays. Only applications from individuals entitled to vote as electors within Electoral Area E can be considered.
